The Sidekick rear hub features a unique anti-kickback drive mechanism with adjustable deadband, providing smooth suspension performance, reduced fatigue, and near-silent operation for an unparalleled riding experience. Its groundbreaking freehub mechanism disengages the drivetrain from the rear wheel when coasting, and an adjustable deadband filters kickback and chain vibration before it reaches the pedals, virtually eliminating pedal feedback effects on suspension. With the drive mechanism disengaged from the ratchet ring, drag is significantly reduced. The result is an impeccably smooth ride over the roughest terrain, improved traction, heightened speed and control, and reduced fatigue. Its nearly silent operation immerses you in the outdoor experience, letting you hear nothing but the wind in your ears and your tires on the trail.

MInidriver has a Shimano HG spline, but is 10mm shorter to accept 11-speed cassettes with 10t cogs from Hope and OneUp Components
