The Yeti 160E is new for 2022 as well as Yeti’s first jump into the E-bike world. Taking from what Yeti knows and conquers in the enduro racing world, the 160E is made to be the fastest e-bike ever. With 160mm of rear travel and 170mm of front, a Shimano EP8 motor with a 630watt battery, this combination is ready to go fast over any terrain. Yeti also created a new suspension platform on the 160E called the Sixfinity. Acting similar to Yeti’s designs in the past, this new Sixfinity design was made to make room for an e-bike motor. With two build kits and two colors to choose from, the only question is what build and color will you take?
Why did it take YETI so long to make the 160E? Because Yeti thought it only wise that we heed the laws of physics. So we took the time to explore and build the 160E on an all new suspension platorm, we call Sixfinity. A ground breaking design with infinite tunability, sixfinity also allows us to address the added power, weight and unique demands of an E-bike. Sure it took us some time. From what we've learned along the way, it'll save even more. The first e-bike build for racing, the 160E breaks new ground.
